Chris and his team undertook a complete renovation of our master bath this past winter, and we are very pleased with the results. It was a complicated project and when issues arose, Chris was actively involved with his subcontractors to ensure that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Mr. Zorn was hired to build out the space for our urgent care. From the very beginning he made sure that we understood the entire process. Prior to each phase of the build out, he would explain what was going to be done and after completion, he was sure to walk us through everything to be sure everything that was done was what we discussed. One thing I was really impressed with working with Mr. Zorn is that he was very personable. He didn't treat us as a customer. He treated us as part of the team. He would always ask our opinions and if there were changes in the plan, he made sure we understood the pros and cons of those changes. He also made sure that we knew that any major changes would requires changes in the drawings and had to be approved by the city which can be a major delay. We were under a time-crunch and we were able to make decisions based on that knowledge. After the completion of our urgent care facility Mr. Zorn would call or come by periodically to see how things are going and to check to see how the work was holding up and if there were any corrections needed. Mr. Zorn is a really great contractor and individual. Anyone who hires him with realistic expectations for completing a buildout or renovation job will not be disappointed. My husband and I had decided to move to the Ocala area after our retirement and after looking around for a couple of months, we found a house and lot that was going to be built by Zorn Construction. In April 2023 we flew to Ocala Florida in hopes of finding our forever home. We looked for months tirelessly on Zillow and found exactly what we wanted with Zorn Construction. We were able to do a walk through on a house that had just been completed but already sold by Zorn Construction. When we finally decided this was the house we wanted Chris Zorn was in the area and met up with us and our realtor at one of his locations. We decided on the plot of land and house that we wanted. The key for us is the we wanted to pay cash for the house. In June 2023 we made settlement and ground to our new home was broke. All money was placed in an escrow account where at each phase of construction would be distributed only with our approval and per our contract. During construction we were living 985 miles from our home being built and had to rely on Chris Zorn and his construction crew with suppling us with high quality videos and photos of each phase of construction. Any questions or concerns were answered in a timely manner by either email or text directly by Chris. Zorn Construction finished our house before schedule and he even met with the deed restrictions committee to walk our property to have the approval for a fence to be installed. We are pleased with our new home and how everything came out. For us cash was the only way to go and so glad we did. No mortgage hanging over our heads.
